Honest listings, respectful chats, and tools to block or report. Small things that help you feel more confident at every step.
Transparency
Look at the photos, read the description, and ask about the condition. A good exchange starts with knowing what to expect.
Respect
There’s a person behind every item. Be clear, be kind, and agree on the details together. No pressure, no surprises.
Control
Something feel off? You can say no, block a member, or report a listing or conversation. You decide what feels right.
Support
Make a plan before meeting in person. Choose a public place, tell a friend, and take your time checking the item.
Ask for recent photos, measurements, and any faults. Agree on exactly what you’re exchanging before you meet.
Choose a busy café or another familiar public place, preferably during daylight. Bring a friend if you’d like.
Let someone you trust know who you’re meeting, where you’re going, and when you expect to be back.
Have enough battery to message, find your way, or call someone if your plans change.
Take time to inspect both items together. Test electronics and check the condition before handing anything over.
You never have to go ahead with an exchange. If you feel uncomfortable, leave and report the concern.
Use the chat to agree on the item and meetup. Be cautious if someone rushes you to another app or asks for private information.
Keep your home address, passwords, banking details, and verification codes to yourself. Don’t follow suspicious payment or delivery links.
Be honest about wear, missing parts, and defects. Both people should be happy with the exchange, and either person can change their mind before the handover.
A useful item deserves a new chapter. Every person deserves respect. Help keep troqi welcoming by being honest, keeping your commitments, and reporting anything that crosses the line.
Read our community rulesKeep exchanges safe and legal. These items aren’t allowed on troqi:
If you’re in immediate danger, move somewhere safe and contact local emergency services. Troqi support is not an emergency service.
Here for you, from the first hello to the handover.
Use the report option on the listing or in your conversation. You can also email support@troqi.app with the member or listing, what happened, and relevant screenshots. Never include passwords or verification codes.
No. If the item isn’t as described or you don’t feel comfortable, you can decline before handing over your item. Let the other person know respectfully.
Troqi does not inspect items in person or guarantee their condition. Ask questions beforehand and inspect the item yourself at the meetup.

The things you no longer use can be exactly what someone else is looking for. Troqi helps you discover items nearby, match with people who like yours, and work out an exchange together.
List an item, explore what’s around you, and start a conversation when there’s a match. Less clutter. More possibility. A new life for good things.
